March 1 |
Last day to to file a petition to run for School Board. All nominating petitions must be filed with the Secretary of the Board of Education before 4:00 p.m. |
March 10 |
The Secretary of the Board of Education shall perform the drawing of names for ballot positions. |
March 30 |
Last day to register to vote for the School Election |
April 6 |
On or before this date, applications for appointment of challengers for school elections shall be filed with the County Board of Elections. |
April 13 |
Last day to receive mail applications for mail-in ballots |
April 14 -April 19 |
Any registered voter who fails to apply by mail, for a mail-in ballot seven-days prior to the school election may apply in person, or by authorized messenger if the voter is sick or confined, to the county clerk on any day up to 3:00 p.m. of the day before the election. |
April 20 |
School Board Election
Day Polls must be open between 5 pm and 9 pm, and may be open any additional time between the hours of 7 am and 9 pm as designated by each Board of Education. |
